There are two reasons you may not be able to find your website in search engines:
1. It may not be indexed yet.
Websites are not automatically listed in search engines. Search engines do seek out new sites to read/index, but waiting for a search engine can be hit or miss.
A good way to ensure your website is indexed by Google is to use Google Search Console. And good way to get your site indexed by Bing is to use Bing Webmaster Tools.
2. It may not rank well for the keywords you're searching.
Try searching for the exact name of your organization, for example "First Baptist Church in Clearwater, FL."
If your website doesn't appear in the search results when searching for the exact name of your organization, that likely means it hasn't been indexed yet.
But if it does appear in the results when searching the exact name, but doesn't appear in the results for more general terms like "church in Clearwater." That indicates your website has been indexed but just doesn't rank well for that keyword.
It may be possible to get your website into the top 10 for the keywords you want to target using search engine optimization (SEO). For more info about SEO, see our SEO Frequently Asked Questions.
